Dave's is especially creative. He sidles up to a world domination remark by prophesying the establishment of a new unit of currency: The Google. Very clever, Dave.
I've always had fun thinking about global what-if scenarios, sometimes taking notes as if I'd ever have the ambition to do a screenplay or fantasy novel that would require a lot of research!
A couple of them are somewhat related to the currency. One is about California seceding from the Union and forming a trade alliance with Japan. I thought about it after reading that California's economy ranks (or at the time it ranked), like, 7th in the world in GNP. The other one's about throwing the world economy into a tizzy when gold is discovered on a moon in our planetary system.
